I went on a 5 mile run along Lake Michigan at lunch today and the wind was a killer. The forecast said to expect 30 mph winds from the NW. I headed north and couldn’t wait to turn around and reap the benefits of that tailwind.
If you are a runner and are visiting Chicago the 18-mile path along Lake Michigan is a treasure. There are water fountains (bubblers) along the way and the views of the city are great.
Here’s a map of the route.
