This picture is from some of the first I ever snapped while living oversees. We went to visit my Grandfather’s sister in southern France and Gaston was her son. He liked to drink a little bit. In this shot he’s holding the rooster that my brother Mark and I had to catch and that Angela cooked for our Easter supper the next day.
Technically this is a mess, but it has this really eerie feeling to it. This is pretty straight from the scan. The more I look at it the more I like it.
