Shortwave radio links

I have always been fascinated with shortwave radio. I have a 1940’s era Zenith radio that I received from my grandparents. It serves as a decorative piece in our living room now since I’m a bit leery of plugging it in. One of these days I want to restore it. Here’s a list of links for later reference:

“Dxing.com”:http://www.dxing.com is a great resource for radio enthusiasts. It contains modern and tube-type shortwave radio surveys that list specs of commonly traded radios. Good resource for used pricing information.

“C.Crane Company”:http://www.ccraneco.com/shortwave_radios.asp offers up new radios and other shortwave listening tips.

The “Pirate Radio Archive”:http://www.piratearchive.com/ site has links to Glen Hauser’s Shortwave/DX report and other recorded shows.
