I added two static pages in MT using Matt Haughey’s method. I started down the path that Brad Choate outlined, but I didn’t have time to fully understand how templating works in MT. The other method works fine, but as mentioned in the text is not as elegant as Choate’s hack.
Ongoing changes to this weblog:
- Changed design through the stylesheet
- Removed the calendar – most people think it is a schedule, not a navigational element for weblog entries
- Added a script that generates random photos. I’ll add more as I get them scanned.
- Re-ordered the navigation elements on the right

- Create photo galleries
- Research Google api, incorporate into weblog
- Add blogroll to right hand nav
- Validate
- Research MT template usage/functionality
