Mia on the swing set in our backyard. This looks like an Arizona winter based on what she is wearing. Most people probably don’t know that Mia was pretty involved in gymnastics so this was a normal sight. I also built her a practice balance beam that was part of the equipment in our backyard.

This shot of Mia jumping was taken in our backyard in Arizona. I would often test film and lighting and use the kids as unwilling subjects. This looks a lot like Fuji Velvia to me and perhaps I had Philipe Halsman in mind that day. @miafiaru

Next in the series. @miafiaru with her Cabbage Patch doll. The hat is a telltale sign that this may have been an outing with Dad. I was never very good at “doing the hair” so I usually tried to comb it and then on with a hat. The Arizona sun was always a good excuse.
