Photographic musings

I was reading an article this morning on writing and the author recommended that you should keep a file open called “musings” while you write. She suggested you could put anything in there that you want, but that it should be “dreamy”. She states, “When you are staring off into space, because all writers do, you’ll see the glint in the window, the ray of sun poking through the dusty shade and you’ll have to write about it.” I often feel that way when I see light striking something that is ordinary and I have to photograph it. I may never share the photos publicly, but they serve as a memory of that moment, of that light.
